Warranty Terms and Conditions
Items sold online by VaiBuscar are covered by the legal guarantee regime. Before purchasing an asset, keep the following points in mind described below:
- VaiBuscar is merely an intervening party and mediator;
- All products sold by VaiBuscar are not manufactured by it. At the time of sale, VaiBuscar passes on to the Customer the guarantee for that product(s);
- Some products are marked with a warranty period longer than that stipulated by law, which is 2 years. After 2 years, the warranty process will have to be handled directly between the Customer and the manufacturer;
- On portable computers, each manufacturer may only offer a 1-year warranty. Consult us before purchasing to be sure of the warranty period for the laptop battery you are looking for;
- In case of difficulties in installing/using a product, first make sure that you follow all the instructions contained in the Manufacturer's Instruction Manuals, particularly regarding the installation and use of the appropriate software. If the problem persists, contact the manufacturer directly.
- In cases of RMA, VaiBuscar undertakes to do its best to have its product exchanged as quickly as possible, with the Customer bearing in mind that the process does not depend exclusively on the seller (VaiBuscar). All products that enter our facilities for RMA are tested and shipped as quickly as possible. From then on, the process becomes the responsibility of manufacturers and suppliers;
Warranty Terms.
In accordance with the provisions of Decree-Law No. 67/2003, of April 8th, with changes introduced by Decree-Law No. 84/2008, of May 21st, all equipment sold at www.vaibuscar.pt is covered by a guarantee of conformity of the goods corresponding to a period of 2 (two) years, this period may be reduced to one year in the case of used movable goods, in accordance with applicable legislation.
The warranty covers manufacturing defects, but under no circumstances does it cover deterioration or misuse. Inspect each package externally very carefully to check for signs of shock or handling, such as knocks, dents, holes, boxes in poor condition, delivery service seals or any sign that could make you suspect that the merchandise may be damaged. .
Products that have their own authorized Technical Assistance network will be subject to the conditions and warranty procedures established by them.
Recalled products have a 12 month guarantee. These are products classified according to their condition, and complaints related to the condition described are not accepted.
VaiBuscar will not accept any shipment that has not been previously authorized by assigning an RMA (“Return Merchandise Authorization”) number by our After-Sales service.
If the purchased product is defective or damaged, the Customer must report the situation to the customer support area, providing their order number and a description of the malfunction. The costs of returning or collecting items within the warranty period will be borne by VaiBuscar.
It is the Recipient's obligation to prove upon receipt of the goods that the delivery corresponds to the requested order. If a package has visible signs that make it suspicious that it has been damaged, it is the Recipient's obligation to leave a written record on the delivery note (whether digital or on paper) that the merchandise is damaged. Accepting the merchandise without this reservation will invalidate subsequent claims by the buyer.
If the product presented as defective does not actually have such a defect, VaiBuscar will notify the buyer of non-refund. This is stored for 7 days at SAT waiting for the buyer to confirm whether they wish to recover the product previously paid for the corresponding shipping costs, or abandon it. After this period, you will lose the right to any complaints.
The warranty will be automatically invalidated in the following circumstances:
- Due to loss or manipulation of any of the manufacturer's control labels and/or intermediaries in the distribution channel and/or VaiBuscar.
- When the cause of damage or failure is due to incorrect use, failure to apply the instructions in the accompanying manual, as well as accidents, misuse, blows, breakages, accidents or failures caused by other causes not attributable to normal operating conditions operation.
- When it comes to repairs due to lack of maintenance, adjustment, inspection or cleaning.
- Use in unsuitable environments (dusty, exposed to direct sunlight, vibrations, extreme temperatures [below 5 ºC and more than 40 ºC], out-of-limit humidity [less than 10% and more than 95%] and sockets without protection or overvoltage protection).
- Due to improper use of the installed software or use of illegal software.
- For damages caused as a result of viruses or computer attacks.
- Because there is a life cycle shorter than the established warranty period.
- CDs, DVDs, Software and Games must be delivered in original sealed cellophane with the IGAC seal intact. Outside of these conditions the warranty is invalidated.
Regardless of whether the equipment has a warranty or not, whenever it is received for repair and no fault is detected, or if it has been caused by incorrect use, a fee may be charged to cover logistical costs;
Applicable Legislation
All purchases made on the website www.vaibuscar.pt are subject to Portuguese legislation. Any conflict or divergence of interpretation of the General Conditions of Contract and Use will be submitted to the competent Portuguese Court.
If the Customer is outside Mainland Portugal, VaiBuscar informs you that any legal proceedings must be forwarded to the Portuguese Courts.
